Chief Series Commercial Flagpoles

Our top internal halyard system. Chief poles run a stainless steel cable inside the pole to a gearless, self-locking winch. You raise and lower the flag with a removable crank handle, so there's no rope to cut and no cleat to untie, and it needs no regular lubrication. Includes a revolving truck with sealed stainless bearings, a flag arrangement, a retainer ring and counterweight, a flash collar, and a galvanized foundation sleeve. Available in the widest range of sizes, 20' to 80', for schools, government buildings and anywhere security matters most.

How to choose: external halyard poles (Jr Cadet through Battalion Chief) have the rope on the outside and cost less. Internal halyard poles hide the rope or cable inside and lock it away: Asst. Chief uses a rope and a locking cam cleat, while Chief and Deputy Chief use a stainless cable and a winch with a removable handle, our most secure setup. Within each type, a higher rank means thicker walls and a higher wind rating. Captain poles are nautical: a yardarm (and optional gaff) lets you fly several flags from one pole.
