Chief 40' x 8" Internal Halyard (0.156" wall)
Our top internal halyard system. Chief poles run a stainless steel cable inside the pole to a gearless, self-locking winch. You raise and lower the flag with a removable crank handle, so there's no rope to cut and no cleat to untie, and it needs no regular lubrication. Includes a revolving truck with sealed stainless bearings, a flag arrangement, a retainer ring and counterweight, a flash collar, and a galvanized foundation sleeve. Available in the widest range of sizes, 20' to 80', for schools, government buildings and anywhere security matters most. This model flies at 40' (44' overall, 2 sections), with a 8" base tapering to 3-1/2" and a 0.156" wall. It's rated for 110 MPH with a flag and 171 MPH without one. Suggested flag size: 8' x 12'. Every commercial pole is ground-set, cone-tapered aluminum, made in the USA, with a limited lifetime warranty on the shaft. Choose satin, clear anodized, dark bronze or black.
