Compare commercial flagpoles
Every series is a ground-set aluminum pole in satin, clear anodized, dark bronze or black. They differ in three ways: how the flag goes up (a rope on the outside, a rope inside, or a cable and winch inside), how well the flag is protected from tampering, and how much wind the pole is built for. A higher rank means a stronger or more secure pole.
Rope outside, rope inside, or cable and winch
Which one is right for me?
| Lowest price | Jr Cadet or Cadet. Simple 20' and 25' poles with the rope on the outside. |
|---|---|
| A taller pole on a budget | Firefighter. Heights up to 70' with an outside rope and the basic hardware package. |
| A windy or open site | Lieutenant for more wall thickness, or Battalion Chief for our strongest outside-rope pole (150+ mph with a flag). |
| Stop people taking the flag down | Asst. Chief locks the rope behind a keyed door. Chief and Deputy Chief go further: a cable and winch that only works with a removable handle. |
| High wind and theft protection | Deputy Chief. Battalion Chief strength with the cable and winch inside. |
| The tallest poles | Lieutenant or Chief, up to 80'. |
| Several flags on one pole, with a nautical look | Captain. A yardarm flies up to three flags; add the gaff for a fourth. |

Ranges cover every height in the series. A dash means the manufacturer doesn't publish that number; call us for your site. Taller poles in a series are rated for less wind than shorter ones; each pole's page has its exact numbers. Swipe the chart sideways on a phone.
