Lieutenant 30' x 5" External Halyard (0.156" wall)
Lieutenant poles have thicker walls than the Firefighter line (.156" to .188"), so they stand up to more wind at the same height. They use an external halyard, with the rope on the outside tied off at a cleat. The package adds a spun aluminum flash collar for a finished look at the base, along with a gold ball, a revolving truck, a galvanized foundation sleeve, and swivel snaps with covers. This model flies at 30' (33' overall, 1 or 2 sections), with a 5" base tapering to 3" and a 0.156" wall. It's rated for 95 MPH with a flag and 119 MPH without one. Suggested flag size: 5' x 8'. Every commercial pole is ground-set, cone-tapered aluminum, made in the USA, with a limited lifetime warranty on the shaft. Choose satin, clear anodized, dark bronze or black.
