Captain 35' x 7" External Halyard with Yardarm & Gaff (0.156" wall)
Captain poles are nautical-style flagpoles with a yardarm, the crossarm you see on a ship's mast, so you can fly several flags at once. The yardarm version has three halyards and cleats; the yardarm and gaff version adds an angled gaff and a fourth halyard, traditionally used for the national flag. The ropes run on the outside of the pole. They come with a gold ball, a revolving truck, a flash collar and a galvanized foundation sleeve, in 20' to 45' heights. A favorite for marinas, yacht clubs, waterfront homes and veterans' memorials. This model flies at 35' (38-1/2' overall, 1 or 2 sections), with a 7" base tapering to 3-1/2" and a 0.156" wall. The yardarm is 9-1/2' long and the gaff 7-1/2'. Every commercial pole is ground-set, cone-tapered aluminum, made in the USA, with a limited lifetime warranty on the shaft. Choose satin, clear anodized, dark bronze or black.
